Holiday time is upon us and most of us will be taking a well-earned break.
A summary of lab closures and submission dates is given below:
Adelaide:
Closed on 25th - 26th December 2025 and 1st January 2026
Last date for live animals submissions 15th December 2025
Live animals submissions recommence 12th January 2026
Serology and Molecular Testing samples will be accepted at any time outside of closure dates at Adelaide Lab.
Bacteriology samples will be accepted outside of closure dates by prior arrangement during this period at Adelaide Lab.
Melbourne:
Closed: 25th- 26th December 2025 and 1st January 2026
Last date for live animal submissions 15th December 2025
Live animals submissions recommence 12th January 2026
The Melbourne Lab will be the preferred site for receiving histology samples during this period, by prior arrangement.
For any bacteriology samples being sent to the Melbourne Lab during this period, please contact the lab beforehand.
